Differences between A name and CNAME
What is actually the differences between A name and CNAME, when a DNS Administrator want to add a new name to their DNS system?
The A record maps a name to one or more IP addresses, The IP address must be static ip address not DHCP. The CNAME record maps a name to another name.
It should only be used when there are no other records on that name.
